The fruits of my labor.......

                                                          This is what I did today...

                            21 quarts of green beans, and this was only my first picking!
                                                     Can't wait to enjoy these this winter.

                              Noah and Katie helped me pick and had some fun playing around.

Happy 4th of July!

We did not do anything spectacular this year for Independence Day. We did not even see family but we did stay home and make cookies...well, Abby made cookies. All by herself too! She found the recipe and mixed the dough and icing all from scratch! She has become quite the little baker. I think she will be making desert from now on.

We have been waiting....

Joshua "Levi" Strunk was born today at 2:44 am. He weighed 7lbs. 3oz. and was 21 inches long. We have been waiting for this precious little addition to our family for a few weeks and he is FINALLY here. He is the first baby to be almost 2 weeks late but the wait was well worth it. Such a blessing to have another gift from God!
